On the Toolbar click Tools and select E-Mail Accounts from the menu.

Select Add a new e-mail account.
Click Next.

Select IMAP.
Click Next.

Internet E-mail Settings:
User Information:
Your Name = Type your name (as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail).
E-mail Address = Type your MHTC E-mail address.

Server Information:
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net

Logon Information:
User Name = Type your MHTC e-mail address.
Password = Type your MHTC e-mail password.
Remember Password should be selected unless you want to enter it each time for security reasons.

Click Next.

 Click Finish.

Macintosh Mail is an e-mail program made by Macintosh for use on Macintosh OS X. 
 
On the Toolbar click Mail and select Preferences from the menu.

To add an account, click the “+” button in the bottom left corner of the Accounts window.

The Add Account wizard begins.

Full Name = Type your name (as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail).
E-mail Address = Type your MHTC e-mail address.
Password = Type your MHTC e-mail password.

Click Continue.

Account Type = IMAP
Description = Type any name for this account. (optional)
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
User Name = Type your MHTC e-mail username (everything before the @).
Password = Type your MHTC e-mail password.

Click Continue.

Do NOT select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Authentication = Select Password from the list.
Click Continue.

Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net
Do NOT select Use Athentication.
Click Continue.

Do NOT select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Authentication = Select Password from the list.
Click Continue.

Review your information and click Create.

Key Mail Server Settings:

Click the Advanced tab if you have your email set up on more than one computer or a computer and another device such as a Blackberry to receive e-mail messages on.

Select Remove copy from server after retrieving a message and then select an appropriate time frame in the list, i.e. After one week.

You will also need to remove the checkmark from Use SSL if it’s selected, otherwise, you may have problems downloading your messages.

 Close the Accounts window and save your settings after making all of your changes.

If you don’t get the wizard when you first open Incredimail, on the Toolbar click Tools and select Email Accounts from the menu.

The Mail Accounts window opens.
Click Add.

On the Account Settings window select Let me configure settings myself.
Click Next.

Select the account type of Other.

Enter your MHTC email address and password.
Click Next.

Server Information:
Server Type =  IMAP
Incoming mail server = mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing mail server = smtp.mhtc.net

Click Next.

Click OK.

Log back into the email properties in order make final changes to the account.

Account Name = Everything before the @ in your email address.
Display Name = Your name or alias (as you want it to appear in sent messages).
Email address = MHTC email address.

If you check your email on more that one device, such as multiple computers or a computer and a cell phone you will need to click on the Advanced tab and select Leave messages on server and specify a number of days.

Click OK and Close out of the mail accounts window. 

Note: If you’re opening Windows Mail for the first time you will not see the window below. You will see the Internet Connection Wizard. Just use the information on this page where appropriate.

On the Toolbar click Tools and select Accounts from the menu.

Click the Add button to create a new e-mail account.

Select E-mail Account.
Click Next.

 Display Name = Type your name (as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail).
Click Next.

E-mail address = Enter your MHTC e-mail address.
Click Next.

Set up e-mail servers:
Incoming mail server type =IMAP.
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net
Note: Do NOT select “Outgoing server requires authentication”.
Click Next.

Internet Mail Logon:
E-mail user name = Type your MHTC e-mail address.
Password = Type your MHTC password.
Remember Password should be selected unless you want to enter it each time for security reasons.
Click Next.

Note: Dial-up customers currently not connected to the Internet should select Do not download my e-mail at this time.
Click Finish.

If you need to change additional settings on the account, highlight your email account and then click on Properties.
If you don’t see the Internet Accounts window, you can access it by going to Tools > Accounts > Properties from the main toolbar.

After making additional changes/selections, click OK to return to the Internet Accounts window and click Close.

To create a new account, click on the Accounts tab at the top and then on Email.

Enter your MHTC E-mail address, Password and Display Name.
Select Make this my default email account (optional).
Select Manually configure server settings.
Click Next.

Enter the following information:
Server Type = IMAP
Incoming Server Address = mail.mhtc.net
Logon user name = Enter your email address.
Outgoing Server Address = smtp.mhtc.net

Default server Port numbers are 143/25; these typically do not need to be changed. If you experience problems sending emails try using outgoing port 587 instead.

Click Next.

Click Finish to return to the Windows Live Mail inbox.

Each e-mail address will be displayed in the left pane.
Note: Identities are not supported in Windows Live Mail.

If you need to change or review an existing e-mail account’s properties click on the Accounts tab, highlight the mailbox you want to edit and then click on Properties.

Make the appropriate changes to your settings, save them and then close the window.
