Apple Mail v5.1 (Lion) – IMAP
Key Mail Server Settings:
Server Type = IMAP
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net
Macintosh Mail is an e-mail program made by Macintosh for use on Macintosh OS X.
On the Toolbar click Mail and select Preferences from the menu.
To add an account, click the “+” button in the bottom left corner of the Accounts window.
The Add Account wizard begins.
Full Name = Type your name (as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail).
E-mail Address = Type your MHTC e-mail address.
Password = Type your MHTC e-mail password.
Click Continue.
Account Type = IMAP
Description = Type any name for this account. (optional)
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
User Name = Type your MHTC e-mail username (everything before the @).
Password = Type your MHTC e-mail password.
Click Continue.
Do NOT select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Authentication = Select Password from the list.
Click Continue.
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net
Do NOT select Use Athentication.
Click Continue.
Do NOT select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Authentication = Select Password from the list.
Click Continue.
Review your information and click Create.
