Thunderbird (Windows)

Key Mail Server Settings:
Server Type
= POP3
Incoming Mail Server = mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net

On the Toolbar click Tools and select Account Settings from the menu.

The Account Settings window opens.
Click Add Account.

Select Email account.
Click Next.

Your Name = Type your name (as you want it to appear when you send an e-mail).
Email Address = Type your MHTC e-mail address.
Click Next.

Server Information:
Select POP
Incoming Mail Server
= mail.mhtc.net
Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.mhtc.net
Click Next.

User Names:
Incoming User Name = Type your MHTC e-mail username (everything before the @).
Outgoing User Name = Type your MHTC e-mail username (everything before the @).
Note: This information may already be filled in.
Click Next.

Account Name = Enter a name for this account.
Click Next.

Review the information you entered. Click Back to make any changes or click Finish to complete the wizard.

Note: Dial-up customers will need to un-select Download messages now if you are not currently connected to the Internet.

The first time you check your e-mail you will be prompted to enter your password. Click Use Password Manager to remember this password unless you want to enter it each time for security reasons.
